I can't find the post but here's my recipe for CANDIED BACON:

Coat bacon sliced HEAVILY in sugar.

Place on pan on med heat.

Sugar will melt and the bacon will cook.

Once it starts browning, wait until it gets to a nice brown color.

Remove bacon and place on a plate then put in the freezer to set the melted sugar.

Take out after about 30-45 seconds and it should be warm, candied, bacon goodness.

Speaking of once-in-a-lifetime snacks, I got to eat a deep-fried candy bar once. It was freaking awesome!!!!

Dont eat too much fast food but Rotten Ronnies Double Quater Pounder is what I always get.... just so tasty

Nice, I have had deep fried Snickers and Mars bars before, very good with a scoop of deep fried icecream at its side... which is now on mine...

Mike, sugar doesn't melt till it hits 800 degrees, you know that.
