mounting my 54" panny plasma on a wall bracket

well me & the wife finally bought some super comfortable couches for th living room, but we need space.

we are finally getting rid of our 'log cabin wall unit' (her gandparents gave it to us)

well im going to buy a monoprice mount

there is a youtube video demostrating how 'easy' it is to install a bracket.
the problem is that im FAR from a Bob Vila person.
im good with electronics & sports, but i lack when it comes to tools

i have a couple of questions/concerns that hopefully you guys could answer for me.

• is the bracket THAT EASY to install?
• will all of the holes be on a stud/piece of wood?
• should i use longer bolts since i have a 54" panny plasma?
