Is there going to be any other games besides those? what happend to 8 days, the getaway, infamous, and all the other games? the line up that sony just announced for the fall dont seem like alot.......this is suppose to be the year of the ps3.

Just like MS had some surprise titles at their Gamer's Day event, I expect Sony to do the same at E3.

Remember, there is still Afrika, The Agency, DC Universe, Free Realms, WarDevil, Tekken 6, White Knight Chronicles, flOwer, Ember, Rockstar's Old West Project, and around 3 other unnamed games due for this year. Maybe some of the games are getting pushed back to 2009, but surely not all of them.

Mr. Saiyan, Didn't R* say that the Old West project would take advantage of the Cell? That could be an important title for the console and LA Niore might prove to be the same thing. Maybe they'll be more on them at the conference.

I don't know if R* said that or not. However, I do know that being the only platform for development of that game means it almost has to take advantage of the Cell better than multiplatform titles. This is R* after all.

E3 should be a lot of fun!

'95-'06=fun.
In that era, E3 was open to everyone. People can have a test drive on game demos and have a say on what the game is like.

'07-present=borefest, but intresting announcements.
Now in this era, it is only open to members of the press and even the writers of the magazine I get agree. Theres no glitz or glamour anymore and there have been protests to bring back the E3 of old. Now the biggest event nowadays is either Lipzeig or TGS.
