Default PS3 signal question

Hello. I tried using the search function, but I can't find my answer. I have a PS3 connected to an LCD flat panel, and the PS3 can output rgb and ycbcr over the HDMI cable. My TV accepts both signals, even super white on the ycbcr and full range on the rgb. Which signal is the better of the two? I appreciate any help I can get.

YcBrCr is the best, with super white on, and RGB set to limited.

agreed...most would prefer using full, but i prefer limited as well. I think full is mainly a spec for computers.

Full is black-white 0-255 (computer standard), Limited 16-235 (digital video standard)

(while, for example, VHS (analog US NTSC standard) is 7.5 IRE-100 IRE throughout its composite/S-video outputs)

Hdmi is the best possible connection. If you have 1080p capabilities you shouldn't have to set anything except for resolution for your inputs. 1080p for hi-def players, 1080i for cable or sattelite. You want the output to match the input. Cable and satellite transmit at 1080i not 1080p. If you don't have 1080p don't worry, experts agree that you can't tell the difference on any screen smaller than 46". The lines are shot onto the screen at a rate that is faster than human vision. Same amount of info. in both signals.

Sadly, I can only get a 1080p signal over HDMI. My set name is below in the sig. but I would think most 1080p sets have the same limitation thanks to HDCP.

I do have it connected via HDMI, but my LCD's resolution is 1366 x 768. My PS3 does a much better job with scaling than the TV, so I just output 720p from the PS3. (The image shifts up and down slighly with a 1080i signal every so often. I'm the only one who notices when it happens.)
