Quake Lurking Off US Coast

After all the activity South (Haiti, Chile), anyone really worried about the big one hitting along the Rockies in North America? According to this news report, a quake might be coming soon.

Man I really shouldn't have watched 2012 and then see this.

The BIG ONE is coming, could be tomorrow or in 10000 years... we can't be more precise then that, sorry West Coast residence

Yeah, but I though I've read one is for sure expected within this century. Whether its the BIG ONE ... is the point of contention ... but activity along the West Coast is increasing ... so

But I agree ... probably no sense worrying about it. Too much in life to worry about.

I am just surprised at how many regions of the US this could affect. I also had no idea about certain areas being such high risk to quakes.

Well San Francisco was hit in 1905 & 1989 and both were rather big events. LA was hit in the mid 90's and that one was also on the big side.

It's actualy the north west coast that as people worried, from Portland to Vancouver. Nothing major as happen there since 1700 and they say the two plates there are under a lot of pressure

It's a bit scary.

They've been talking about it for years. I hope it doesn't happen but we can't control mother nature.

Read an article that states if the Quake does take place then we would be expecting major parts of Seattle under water.
