Default Network people: Weird router problem/question

I'm having a weird networking issue, and part of me is starting to think its not the PS3's fault afterall.

I have a Linksys router. A cable runs to a switch, and from there two cables out, one to my PS3, and one to my 360. This worked fine for a while.

A couple months ago, I got a new Router. Same Linksys dealie, newer firmware/revision, but basically the same exact router. Ever since I put this new one in, both the PS3 and the 360 dont log in right away when I turn on the system. They try, and usually time out or just fail. Most of the time by the time I get in I can cancel it, and hit the log in button manually. Sometimes it logs in, some times it takes a couple tries.

Thing is, the 360, from the little bit I've used it, STAYS logged in. My PS3 however times out a bunch. I'll get a "You have been logged out of the PlayStation network error sometimes, but I can still browse or download. Sometimes my downloads stop and restart.

Tonight I took the switch out of the equation, thinking maybe the new router just had trouble seeing something, but no luck. Same symptoms.

Its very random and all very bizarre.

Any body know anything about routers and maybe some settings I should look for and/or tweak?
