weird problem - Blu-ray Forum

I just bought Tiger Woods '08, and Need for Speed Carbon (both EA Games, games) and neither of them work with my optical sound. Blu-ray movies, and other games I've had, the sound works perfectly. But these EA Games...nothing. I've changed the settings around and nothing seems to be working!

If I remember right, you have to set the audio options to output in bitstream.

Interesting Problem. I own R6V and occasionally the sound goes away when I play online. I have to leave the game and come back for the sound to work again. I thought this was happening the other night, but it came to be that my optical cable was unplugged. OOPS!

i tried the bitstream, and the reset...didn't work. the only problems are with these two games, which are EA games! RFOM, Godfather, Rainbow Six, and all my blu-ray movies, and dvd's work fine, it's just the EA games!!!!
