Default EA Does something RIGHT? Fight Night: Champion Released ala carte!

I picked up the Fight Night: Champion (Champion Mode) today on the PSN which was priced at $4.99.

Once you buy that, you get the full game download (which is about 4 gigs or so) and the 100k download of the Champion Mode which is the story based mode with Andre Bishop.

When you load up the game, you have the opportunity to buy individual modes separately rather than the entire game at once (Which you can do as well).

Below are the prices for the separate modes. Wish they'd do this with the NCAA and Madden football games!

• Champion Mode (standalone) – $4.99

Additional game modes available for purchase within Fight Night in-game store:

• Fight Now – $5.00
• Legacy Mode and Boxer Share – $10.00
• Online Play – $10.00

I think this is excellent and I wish more full retail games would take this. How many people will now get this who do not have any interest in the Online Play? Or who simply wanted the story mode of this?

Seriously this may be the 1st time I've ever said this, but kudos EA!
