Default Original DeathRace 2000? Awesome

Just watched the original Deathrace 2000, and I loved it. It was like a mesh between The Running Man (game-show death exploitation) and Westworld (Cinematography, atmosphere).

I loved it more than the new one actually, and I liked it more than The Running Man. I can't wait until this comes out on Blu-ray in June. Looking forward big time!

A great 70's romp. D. Carradine was great in this.

The new one sucked because they totally eliminated running over the elderly and babies for the most points. that was the best part!

I remember seeing this one when I was young. Much better than the new version that came out.

The scene where the doctors roll the old patients out in wheelchairs for Frankenstein was hilarious. I can't wait for this.

There is a God. All I have right for this movie is a digital copy that looks like someone recorded it off a VHS tape with their cell phone. This is by far one of my favorite movies and definitely my fave Corman flick. Can't wait to have it in HD. I'll gladly drop the cash for this one and again on whatever the next format is and on and on.

Wish Corman would do a sequel to this one and not the crappy Statham movies.
