Sweet! Just wait until the PS3 launches. The forum's probably going to get some serious traffic then. I bet we'll see a lot of folks that are just starting to get a taste of Blu-Ray. These are exciting times, folks.

If anyone is wondering why the member count suddenly dropped to 2050 we just removed 150-200 spammer accounts that we've accumulated over this year.

Now if we could mobilise all of our members to vote in the next poll on AVS, our 2000 members should easily swamp the lame 200 or so HD DVD supporters.... hahah

Of course, that changes nothing in the real world...

I think the problem is that everytime a poll is posted (even polls linked by our members in their posts here), they find out, and suddenly the next day that poll sees a surge from the Automatic Vindictive Squadron and their e-mail/address book/contacs list. Almost like one of those MS/Windows viruses you get that generate automatic mails!

Interesting. The best linear fit would be a doubling of the "daily reach" in the last six months.

And it confirms, big time, the PS/3 induced spike.

Very cool.. didn't know that about that utility

It's seems very accurate since we also noticed a spike in our log files when the PS3 was released. If you change the range to 1 or 3 years, check out the huuuge spike around CES 2006
