Default besides HDD size what the big differences in the 40 and 80gb PS3?

Its looking like the time is really ripe for plucking a PS3. And I'm starting from scratch so I don't care about PS2 games but I do care about features and capabilities.

Other then no PS2 backwards compat, the 40gb version is also missing the memory card reader slots (Compact Flash, Secure Digital and Memory Stick card reader) and only has 2 USB ports instead of 4. I also believe that I heard the 40gb version will not have SACD playability. I have no solid source for the lack of SACD support though.

The 40gb will still have built in Wifi which I was wondering if that would be striped out.
