Onkyo 605 big and hot?

i wanna get an onkyo605 for my ps3 and blu-ray movies but i think its to big, i have this tv entertainment center http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage....=1175389476893 and i dont know if it will fit,i recently went into a circuitcity to look at one and dam that thing is huge. and another thing is the heat, i read on cnet reviews one person said it gets to hot real hot, now im having second thougts about getting one.is there another reciever that has the same specs like onkyo 605 if not a better one? and a little smaller? i dont mind spending anothere 150 to 200$ on a good reciever thanks.
