The problem could be with the add on drive as people have reported problems before, or it could be the network problem others have reported. But the main problem would be that it is on HD-DVD.

HD DVD add-on for Xbox 360... again? Geez. How many times do we have to hear about certain movies not being able to play on that thing?

You have to clear the damn cache in order to get it to play. I had the same problem with mine when I watched Heroes, but I don't have a problem with Transformer, other than the fact that the first time I watch it, it took like 2 minutes before the movie launch.

It's the damn web update check - it's downloading stuff from the net when you first load up the movie. Pretty bad decision if you ask me, since not everyone will be accessing the "interactive" feature the first time they load up a disc (like myself, as I was showing the movies to my nephews). I would rather they load it up the first time you load the feature.

You can de-activate Caching of web enabled content in the Xbox usermenu.
Only those having this selected "On" will experience the 2 min installation, and only the first time you load the disc. Once it's there it boots up fast just like any other HDDVD does on the 360.

I notice that the YouTube video seems to be set up very similarly to the famous "Can't play Pirates 2 Liar's Dice" 'Tube video, back in the early days of Blu-bashing...
If so, nice touch of irony. Probably unintentional, though.
