Dude, you fell right into his trap! You posted that here and now we all can see how rational, statesmanlike and coherent they are!

Why post a flame trying to get more people to continue a useless flame war?

It is obvious this post and the quoted post is only meant to flame war with little basis in anything else as an organized argument. My suggestion is to not continue to lower yourself towards ignorance, they will only beat you with their experience.

Oh lord---who cares? It's their forum. I think stirring the pot there with pro-Blu data probably constitutes trolling, same as it would if some HD-DVD fanboy posted that kind of diatribe over here...anyway, why bring this dog crap in from the yard and drop it on our nice clean kitchen table?

Let them have their fun. It's very likely their last holiday season of any relevance; I don't want to take that away from anyone.

Their players work like their supposed to? Dont we hear of firmware issues for them all the time. And dont even get me started on boiling/washing disks.

All they ever mention any more is interactive features. As if having special features means more than studio/industry support and market share.

I am sure that everybody here can counter any of those arguments, we don't need to. It would be a waste of our time. Hopefully a MOD closes this thread before it gets out of control.

Sony has to get on the ball regarding profile 1.1, but once that is out of way I wonder what else they will have to complain about?

Funny, I enjoyed that.

Let's not butt heads here and convince ourselves. We know how good blu-ray is. Let's leave it at that.
