Hi! to all,
I've been watching all the Bond Blu-ray's of late and have been really impressed with the awesome picture quality of nearly every disc, the work that "Lowry" has done on them is fantastic. However, I have to say having just watched Thunderball it's easily the worst picture-wise out of all the Connery & Moore films I've watched. I find it really strange that Thunderball was Connery's 4th outing as Bond, and yet the three films he done before it Dr No, FRWL & Goldfinger all look far better than the later Thunderball, it's almost as if Lowry did not bother as much with this particular film? I'm not saying the picture was bad but it was certainly a letdown compared to the other Bond Blu-ray's I've seen. Any of you guys notice this? Cheers! ![]() JW |
