Wife was watching "Dancing with the Stars" - ABC (I swear I was not watching it ) and it was around 9:35pm or so Eastern Standard. It definitely caught my attention. I've been looking for something online to post, but have yet to find anything.

Riiiiiiiiiight!!!

My girlfriend was watching Dancing with the Stars as well, and I myself caught a glimpse of this commercial. It was pretty good. It struck me that at the end it said, "at Target".

I guess Target is getting a little more aggressive with their Blu-ray support as well. It's good to see.

Wow, that's about prime time on a major network during a very popular hour. Great work, Target!

I had the results show for Dancing With the Stars on my DVR and just fast forwarded through to check the commercials. Saw the Target ad at about the 32 minute mark. One thing I noticed is that it showed a clip from The Wedding Crashers and I think a box with it, but I don't recall seeing that on a schedule.

My local Targe finally got its act together. Until recently they had a very small HDM selection, everything priced at $30. Tonight they had 6 rows (I think) of Blu-ray and NONE for HD DVD. They did have Transformers on HD on an endcap, and there were a few copies of 300 and something else on HD DVD in the very bottom right hand corner of the displays with Blus on the top and left of them. Their prices ranged from $20 on things like Halloween to $30 for Fox titles (I walked out with Edward Scissorhands). It was great to see!

HOLIDAY $$$$$$$$ Thats what Target has in mind, just think if they sell 10,000 players, about 1/4 will probably be active bd disc buuyers, another 1/4 will be the casual disc buyer and well the other half either will be, I dont have a HDTV or it will be a gift that collects dust bunnies

The TARGET near me have 10 blu ray section to 5 HD section... And oh.. I ask one of the worker that work in the electronic section.. He said that TARGET is going to carry the Sony Blu-Ray DVD Player - BDPS300 as there standalone player... It should be out sometime next month... SONY is buying one of there endcaps displaying there products... That was nice to hear... But no i did not see the comercial... Im sure there will be plenty more BLU-RAY commercials in the near future... BLUSPEED!!!

I saw a Blu-ray "I do Blu" commercial on MOJO last night, featuring clips from 300, Pirates, Ratatouille, Harry Potter 5, FF4: ROTSS, LFODH, etc. They also showed a BD player I've never seen before, but, judging by the large time display on the front panel, I think it was the new Panasonic DMP-30 model. It has a different chassis than the BD10 and 10A-- no flip-down front door.

I always found that my Targets had OK pricing, but selection was limited, I will have to check and see if Blu has been expanding there.

Saw it a few nights ago. Just days after my nice surprise of looking at my Target's movie section and seeing the huge expansion to the BD selection, that and the fact that the HD DVD section was half or less of the BD one.

After seeing the ad on TV though I said aloud, "wow Target is really on board now". My wife just looked at me, as she doesn't really care.

I'm not even sure how I would get it off my DIRECTV HD DVR. It would be nice if one of the Blu-ray websites like one that the BDA sponsors would get originals of some of these commercials and post them. I'm not sure if there would be any rights issues though.

I found that Target has the trilogy for just under 65 bucks...but Best Buy has it for 60.99 especially when you can just use that price at circuit City to price match if it's sold out...
