Default Which Blu-ray movie do you think will do the best this quarter?

Sorry, I could only limit it to 10 titles per poll.

Pirates!

I was also very encouraged by the numbers generated durinG the BOGO deal. Especially since both have been out for months.
Most of the people that bought the first two will now go buy the third.

Smart move Disney!

The split SKUs might hurt both the Spidey and Potter franchises, leaving POTC:AWE to claim the solo spot at the top.

Ratatouille is my favorite out of the films listed, for whatever that is worth...

I am in total agreement with both of these gentlemen. Both of their statements combined make for a clear picture as to which title shall be crowned victorious this Quarter. Although, to be perfectly honest, I would like to see 'Cars' ride up near the top of the ladder!

I guess we have to agree to agree.

Another good thing about POTC is that it will be a complete franchise and a complete Blu-ray presentation once you add the third disc to the first two -- unlike Spider-Man, where a double-dip with extras for the first two is widely expected, and unlike Potter, which is still an ongoing series. (This last part might affect sales of the boxset, although it's very handsome.)

The only blemish I can see about the POTC discs is the framing glitch with the first film -- Disney might issue a replacement, which would mean a mail-in exchange program. They're good at it, but I'm not sure us internationals will be covered by such a thing. It's a very small issue, of course. But it's the only thing preventing me from getting the full set right now.

I think it would be POTC: At World's End. Think of all those people that bought the first and second POTC before and during the BOGO sale. Now, I know most people would want to complete their collection of the POTC, plus it did pretty good in the Box Office. Which usually translates to good sales volumes. I vote for POTC.

All of these titles are huge sellers for sure so i'll say its gonna be a toss-up between simpsons and pirates as they have got the widest audience appeal
from kids to teens to older ppl they all love these 2 movies

I find it kind of telling that Die Hard 4 is doing rather poorly in comparison to other titles on the list. I know I, for one, will not buy the PG13 blu-ray when I know there is an unrated cut that has to be more in line with Die Hard as a series. I'd rather wait for the double dip and rent the DVD in the meantime.
I think it's interesting also more people are voting for Pirates than Spider-man. I know Spider-man 3 wasn't widely loved (though I liked it) but I thought Pirates 3 was by far a worse movie than Spider-man 3. The script was a mess and the storyline meandered all over with dangling plotlines everywhere. Still, as a completist I will probably buy it, sadly.

It is really hard to tell since blu-ray offer us a lot of superb blockbusters this Q4!
i have voted for POTC3 though!

But i believe Spiderman , Rattatoullie, Die Hard , simpsons ,superbad ect. will do VERY well as well.

Forgot Superbad, although due to the vulgarity of the film I don't think it will reach numbers like POTC and SM3 will. Still my fav movie of 07, hands down.

I decided to go for a long shot (High School Musical 2). I wouldn't make them the favorite, but figure it is like betting on a 50:1 shot in a horse race. I think it has a small chance and nobody else was betting on it. Either way, I think it will do better than many people expect if advertised right. I remember reading that something like 17 million people saw it on TV and that was with it being on cable (and probably in SD). Maybe Disney can get families to buy it to play on their PS3s and other Blu-ray players.
