Does anyone know if the two movies are coming to Blu?

I was just gonna post this, I wanted to pick it up on DVD but heard the release they had cut out some scenes? They just put Dumb & Dumber on BD so imagine this would come in the future at some point.

I would love to both of them to make their way to Blu-ray. I sold the first Ventura because it was 4x3 fullscreen, I hope it wasn't filmed this way?

I have the first ace ventura on my HD DVR, its 16x9 widescreen (no black bars).

WHY oh WHY do they feel the need to RUIN such good movie franchises? First The Son of the Mask and now this? WTF?!

I saw some of the latest DVD version on the weekend without the freakin' dolphin trainer scene. I may just locate the old fullscreen release for the time being, I haven't watched this movie in years and absolutely love it.

The DvD was a joke,need a real good Blu-ray transfer. Its too funny a movie,classic Jim Carrey to not have a nice transfer. JC

Yup it says Ace Ventura: Pet Detective / Ace Ventura: When Natura Calls comes out August 10th. I've never seen the second movie, is it good? I watched part of Ace Ventura a couple months ago and it was funny, hadn't watched it in years. I'll probably end up buying it

I'm just wondering... what dolphin trainer scene are you referring to? Is that the one where they show Ace what the dolphin was supposed to do at halftime? I watched an hd version of AV1 - not gonna say from where - and it seemed complete from what I remembered.

I really hate when they cut scenes out, especially the funny scenes. Remember on Billy Madison on the vhs version they had funny scenes like the big lady kicking the ball and saying "this one is going to the fking moon" and they play kick ball. But they cut that scene out for dvd and it really ticked me off

One reason why I hate dvd.
