The second one was actually not all that bad and I actually know some people who prefer it by quite a wide margin to the first, but if you actually look closely, the plot is almost paper-thin. And for some reason I just really really hated the first scene when I was young...still do.

I think it's the one where he's trying to save that poor cute animal on a cliff and it falls off and dies...just always found it really sad.

I'm pretty sure it's the first scene.

One of the few good scenes in the second one is the part with the slinky down the steps.

The only good part of Ace ventura was Cannibal Corpse. Those movies blow IMO.

No doubt it will be a disaster.

Studios need to realize most people don't want to see sequels without the main stars from the original.
