A question regarding the Update 2.01 for PS3?! - Blu-ray Forum

First of all I dont know if there is thread for this and i dont know if anyone has ask this before. But i recently updated my ps3 to 2.01 because i need it to get access to the psn. But i am having problems with blu-ray movies i dont know if anyone else is having problems as well. My system froze when i was watching rattatoille i bought it yesterday and almost in the end of the movie just like 20 minutes to end it froze. Its almost the same with assassins creed but assassins creed is a problem that it is common on all disc and a patch is been made. So my question is anyone having this or similar problems? any help is apreciated.

No problems here, AC is known to have problems thought. It froze on me a few times. Was pretty shitty game imo

Sorry dude but it was actually a good game. It just freezes alot.

Sometimes the PS3 freezes when Im on the web browser.

worst that happened to me was some stuttering but I had been using my PS3 for numerous applications and hadn't rebooted so there was some memory that wasn't cleared causing that stuttering I rebooted the PS3 and it was smooth sailing...

my ps3 has only had like maybe 2 or 3 problems since i got it and i got it back in february and plus with 2.01 update it actually fixed every thing that was wrong with my ps3

Never had any problems with Bu-ray playback, and Assassins Creed hasn't even frozen on me though I haven't played it a huge amount. Need For Speed : ProStreet occasionally freezes but we are talking fractions of a second at most. It's never been so bad that it's caused me to crash or anything, it's usually my crappy driving that causes that
