Why starting a new thread everytime there's a poll popping on the internet ? You can post here all the polls you find, to make sure everybody go and vote for Blu-Ray !

I did both. Blu-ray for president. I'm certain my PS3 would do a better job than bush.

At GameFAQs, the 12/9/07 poll of the day asks "Do you own a high-definition DVD player?"

The results so far:

No, regular old DVD is good enough for me - 54.81% - 148
Yes, a Blu-Ray, in my PS3 - 16.67% - 45
No, I'll wait for a single format to win - 15.56% - 42
Yes, an HD-DVD, with my 360 - 5.93% - 16
Yes, a standalone player - 5.19% - 14
Yes, both kinds - 1.85% - 5

It looks like the PS3 is doing for Blu Ray what the PS2 did for dvd.

Yeah, and almost 50% of all voters aren't satisfied with DVD and want something more. Soon as HD DVD loses, that burden will be lifted and Blu-ray adoption will speed up.
