Default It's official, I have every Blu-ray I want

I have every Blu-ray I want, including some I don't.

I went on the new amazon sale right now, and I went through all the titles. I either had them all, or didnt want them.

There were a few titles that I was kinda interested in, but I have never seen them and would be taking a chance on them:

Bram Stoker's Dracula
Casino Royale
Scary Movie
(I liked it when it came out, but I was 14)

After blindbuying The Lookout, I told myself I wasnt gonna blindbuy anymore (I didnt like it).

This is why I was so anxious to get some movie announcements from studios, I need something to look forward to besides Life of Brian, Dogma, and Unbreakable.

Fox announced Predator and Commando, but I could care less about those.

Common studios, announce some awesome movies!

You just need to wait it out. When all the studios release for Blu-ray we will start seeing a flood of movies for consumption. ^^

While I really like Dracula, it is strange with some bizarre performances. I would recommend renting it first.

Scary movie is crappy in my opinion.

Casino Royale is an AWESOME movie, but I'm a huge James Bond fan.

Dracula is not my cup of tea.

To many the original Predator is an awesome announcement.

Perhaps you can list some of the titles you'd like to see. Realizing that you can't expect all the jewels to be announced soon.

BTW, if you like Bond, I think you'll really like Casino Royale.

There aren't any more BD's already released that I really want either. Maybe 4-5 I kinda sorta wouldn't mind adding to the collection. I'm just snapping up the new releases I want as they come out.

Hopefully with WB on board and soon the others I won't be able to keep up.

I wholeheartedly, recommend Casino Royale.

It's not like ANY James Bond movie you've ever seen. Much more on the realistic side.

Daniel Craig was fantastic in that role. I suggest you suspend for blindbuying policy for that title. THEN you can start not blindbuying.

congrats on getting everything you want. I'm getting there myself, but I doubt I'll ever actually get there.

I highly reccomend Casino Royale though. I would definitely suggest getting out and renting it if you're against a blind buy (and I can understand why). It's a great Bond movie, and IMO a lot different from the usual Bond stuff. It's kind of refreshing.

A random list of movies that would be must buys for me (I will leave out
Universal and Paramount movies):

Snatch
Fight Club
Pulp Fiction
Monty Python and the Holy Grail (looking forward to Life of Brian the 29th)
Austin Powers (as bad as the are, they never get old)
Batman Begins
Boondock Saints
Donnie Darko
From Dusk Till Dawn (as bad as the 2nd half of this movie is, 1st half rocks)
Sin City
The Wrong Guy
The Ninja Turtles New Line trilogy (nostalgia)

These are just some movies I would scoop up immediately

As for Casino Royale, I have never seen a Bond movie before in my life. Maybe I will take a chance.

I had never seen or been interested in a Bond movie either. I bought Casino Royale in a blind buy and really glad I did.

I have about 35 Blu rays, and only 3 of them are ones I've seen before. Try going for things you haven't watched, you might be surprised

You could also check review sites before purchasing (I like rotten tomatoes) if you don't like surprises.

well, in all honestly man, I'm happy for you. I'm at 65 and still have about 15 I know I want plus 5-10 I've never seen but may eventually blindbuy. So much money. But I'll be happy when I'm COMPLETELY caught up and only have to worry about new releases. Should happen soon though, theres only maybe 4 or 5 new release titles from now until march coming out that I want so I can work on my back titles.

My son, who is 17, saw a few of the older movies and couldn't stand them, but he LOVES Casino Royale. I am 40 and have always been a "Bond fan" and I will say "Casino Royale" is my favorite to date. They did a great job with it. I can't WAIT for Bond 22...

OK, that is a might fine list. I'd definitely get most of those myself.

I think we will probably see Batman Begins before The Dark Knight is released.

You have this many Blu-rays and have never seen Casino Royale? That movie was great and a big hit. One of the biggest selling Blu-rays to my knowledge to date.

Casino Royale and Dracula are both worth having. Dracula is a bit dark and offbeat, but it's Gary Oldman and Wynona Ryder directed by Coppolla... pretty cool stuff.
