OK..I am not expecting much of this one. I will rent it first and buy it alter at a good price to continue the series in my collection I actually liked Saw V more than IV, and I'll see how this one goes.

im sure alot of people here hate the series as does alot of people

i for one absolutely love the saw series, 1-3 and 5 are my favorites, i do own saw 2 on BR only because it was a gift and i plan on waiting for a complete set, atleast a 1-6 complete set box since they said 1-6 ends the first "chapter"

I liked SAW VI, it was better than V and IV. The problem is that the DVD cases are always cooler looking than the BD cases.

For all people curious in this movie.. If you have seen all the others, and have been dissapointed in the last 2 or 3.. This is a big step up. Worth owning for sure if you're into horror or into the series. I was surprised with this new installment!

I think 6 is the best Saw movie since the original. I'll pick it up when it goes on sale.

I watched this the other month and thought it was good enough to keep the series going. The final 'trap' is a great flashback moment.

Totally agree with this.

Now get ready for everyone to come flooding in talking about how much the series sucks yet they keep watching them.

I know I'm a noob here, but I enjoy the Saw films (V is still the worst so far though, in my opinion), and I also have to agree that VI is the best since the first three films. Hell, it even has the second best critic average on Rotten Tomatoes, beat only by the original. Sure, it's still "rotten", but at least it's in the 40% range

Can't wait for the blu-ray as well as Saw VII! Here's hoping David Hackl doesn't screw up the directing...

I own all the SAW films on Blu-ray and will own this one too. They're not the greatest horror movies, but I like collecting them. The special features are usually awesome, which helps.

I didn't think VI was as markedly better than IV and V, like most people/critics have been saying, but it's certainly as good as them, so if IV and V didn't chase you from the series, then you're all good with VI.

I have I-V, so I might as well get VI. I didn't see it at theaters so this is a blind buy just like the last one.

Saw VI is the first of the films in a while that I'd suggest people see. Saw IV and V felt more like pale imitations of the original trilogy. Its a shame it took these new screenwriters until now to actually get things right.

Thankfully the beginning of Saw VI replays the events from the end of Saw V so I can pretty skip the weakest film in the series if I want to catch people up on the franchise.

I will do the same. Saw V was kinda weak, but I've heard enough good things about VI to keep the collection going.
