Best Buy Price Match Policy on HDTV?!

I want the get the Sony 46 Inch XBR4 at Best Buy. I saw that Circuit City has it cheaper this week, but I also have a 12 percent off coupon at Best Buy. Will Best Buy price match CC AND use the 12 % coupon?

i dont think so if it is a sale price, its either or on that.

i asked yesterday if they would honor a 10% off coupon for the panny plasma on sale with free panny bd30 player and they sad NO!!

so try if you can, but i dont think they will, sorry

well i used my 10% off coupon on a sale item that was marked down from 40 to 20 dollars so got it for 17.99 plus tax so it might work just try

Try. If it doesn't work, go with whoever's cheaper.

do it backwards. Go to CC and use that 12% coupon from BB there. Theyll honor that coupon.

was it a sale item or a clearance item? $40 to $20 is half price and sounds like a clearance item? they use to honor coupons on sale items, but when i asled yesterday the girl said they wont on a sale item? anyone else know about this? any BB employee's can shed some light on this topic?

Really?!! It's a Happy Birthday coupon that Best Buy sent me. It's just that I want some reward zone points, also I like BB's warranty service.

Just try and see. =) I recently bought the 46XBR4 pricematched w/ Sears and wound up w/ triple points on the purchase. Plus, they will continue to price match 60 days on HDTVs.

We bought a TV stand same day, and that next weekend it dropped $130. Went back and got the difference back w/o a fuss.

Talk to the people in the TV department and get the pricematch. Then, after they've got it rung up hand them the coupon.

This is slightly off-topic, but I've read a lot of people on-line state that they have gone to Best Buy and "bargained".

My question is this, has anybody had any luck trying this at Circuit City? I don't have a Best Buy in my area...

Technically, I do, but I live near a City that has a Circuit City, but has yet to get a Best Buy.

That being said, we are about to get one, but I'm not sure if they've broken ground yet...
