Best Buy Price Match? - Blu-ray Forum

The Mall near my house has a Best Buy and Circuit City.I want to buy the new Fantastic 4 movie but Best Buy wants $34.99 for it.Circuit City wants $29.99.Will Best Buy match the Circuit City price.Also my first post.

The Best Buy in Louisville price matches CC, but I always have the add to show them. The add here indicates that CC has an exclusive bonus disc. I do not know if this is a bonus blu-ray disc or what.

Why do you want them to price match it, why not just buy it at CC and save yourself the hassle?

Yeah, but then you don't get to accumulate those wonderful BB Reward Zone points....for every $250.00 spent you get an entire $5....you can't pass that up!

You can also do what I have been doing thanks to some helpful suggestions from members of this site:

Print out a listing from Target.com (which is supplied by Amazon.com) and take it to Best Buy. They do not match Amazon's prices, but they do price match for Target.

This way you can still get your BD's for the best price around and accumulate the Reward Zone points as well. Not to mention you never have to pay for S&H or wait for them to be delivered.

So even though the page that you print says dvd's brought to you by amazon.com they still dont mind??

I've had mixed results. Some stores don't know or pay much attention and just match the price. A few are on to this, though.

Also, Target won't match those prices... which is pretty funny if you've ever watched someone who doesn't know that the website is Amazon try to argue with them.

Here's what I would suggest.......

If you "search" for your title on Target.com it says that the titles are brought to you buy Amazon in that little banner abouve the movies. If instead you go through the steps (ex. click on dvd's, then which genre, then the title) it does not display that it is brought to you by Amazon.

Hope this makes sense. It is a quick way to help avoid hassle by anyone at the store that you are trying to price match at.
