Best Buy Won't Price match?

So I tried saving 3$ today on "Live free die hard" . But at bb they said that they no longer do online comparisons, even with walmart. They have to manualy call and get a price check. After calling two walmarts that were out of stock the lady gave up.

I thought they did online price match??!

If you notice the bolded section, they can at their discretion check availability of the product. They are probably losing money hand over fist to price matching places that advertise a great sale on the internet but have very limited stock on hand in stores.

Sears (in Reno) does this also... EVERY TIME...

I would love to give a great company like Sears business (Sears pays the difference for military that gets deployed, so their families dont end up poorer), but I cant afford it I hope they are around when I do have money.

That's stupid, they are supposed to regardless. That's why each BB store has computer terminals with internet every few feet, to check these things.

They don't have the price match if the item is not instock at the local competitor's store.
