Faint vertical lines in some movies? - Blu-ray Forum

Most of my blu-rays are great, but there are three that have faint vertical lines throughout each entire film. The three movies are Mission Impossible 1 & 2 and Behind Enemy Lines. It's not my player or TV, just these three movies. Every other blu-ray, PS3 game and DVD look fine.
Does anyone else have this problem or do I have freak disks? I thought it might be older movies, but Enemy of the State looks great. Has anyone noticed them on any other movies?

I figure this is a long shot, but those exact movies, as well as a few others (including Clear and Present Danger which Im watching on Amazon via my laptop connected with HDMI) give me this issue. It's always driven me crazy and this is the only post Ive ever found to match my issue. Did you ever find a solution?

Does this occur on every display or just one?

I understand this is an old thread, but I remember having this issue with my HD DVD of "Hot Rod". I wonder if it might have been an issue common to early transfers from Paramount. It would really be strange that so few people have noticed/mentioned it before now, though.
