Good article, it's always useful to read something like this - Peter Moore, having taken over from the ludicrous J Allard - is so full of hype and spin, that it's nice to read something where the media are clearly aware of the role MS have played in the dirty tricks campaign against Sony.

I get the feeling that the media focus is about to shift away from "that console released in 2005". So, little wonder MS are doing everything they can to grab headlines.

Getting rid of Allard was a great idea of someones, but can the same person reign in Peter Moore? It just gets embarassing reading his interviews.

It's MSFT's job to smear Sony as much as they can. But the chances are that some of the the very people who play Xbox 360's may be using a Sony HDTV, Sony Home Theater system, or both. When PS3 comes along, people will recognise it as a all inone
entertainment sysem. That being said. Sony will sell lot's of PS3's, however Xbox 360 is a formidable enemy. Price alone will drive potential customers to Xbox's side of the fence. PS3's low quantities, will definately remove it from a contender this christmas. Xbox 360 will be selling like hotcakes while PS3's count's will be completely exausted. Christmas 2007 will tell which console is superieor to the other. Nintendo will sell an impressive amounts of DS and Wii consoles this Christmas.

Sony will not be forgoten. PStwo game sales will be strong, even console sales will be up dispite it's already saturated demographics.

All in all, it's gona be one big christmas for video game industry.
