There were a Few, Requiem for a Dream is the one I really care about, but if you look through the Movies Section, there's a lot of TBAs that were supposed to be out last year. Are they gonna be coming soon? or not at All (in the near future)

As it looks like blu-ray will become the format of choice I would think that some of those movie that were delayed or canceled would be released because of the one format, but I would not hold you breath.

I suspect with the format war going on that catalog titles were neglected due to shelf space, low sales, and production capacity concerns. In a perfect world I'm sure the studios would have released every title they announced or promised.

I too am eagerly anticipating Requiem, which is one of my absolute favorite movies.

Lots of catalog titles need a *huge* installed base before they'll sell enough copies to merit a BD release. It's kind of a game of chicken: how long can the studios delay titles waiting for the installed base to grow before consumers decide that the titles aren't coming and lose interest in HD optical media completely?

Well....requiem does not have a big install base..... It is however, the single greatest movie of the decade (in my opinion)

I should probably see it eventually. I just can't get myself motivated to do so.

I remember reading that Legends of the Fall was going to be released, but fell off the map. That movie is going to kick ass on Blu!

TBA means TBA, if it is not dated do not believe it until it is.

I want To Live and Die in L.A. released on Blu immediately. It's an awesome movie deserving of a high definition release. They need to really clean that one up (the SE DVD's PQ was pretty bad).
