Default 3:10 to Human?

I was at Best Buy yesterday trying to get a copy of 3:10 to Yuma, but I didn't see any copies. One of the employees comes over and asked if I needed any help. I asked when they'll be getting more copies of 3:10 to Yuma, so he goes to the computer to look and doesn't find anything... He calls over another employee that was passing by and asked if he'd ever heard of 3:10 to Human... The other employee corrected him, but then he kept calling it 3:10 to Huma. Anyway, he informed me they'll be getting 6 copies in a few days.
But I couldn't help but chuckle as I walked away.

Cool

How do some people get jobs there? Went into a BB on boxing day to pick up Pan's Labyrinth, and after several minutes of looking through their display, asked the guy who worked in the media dept. where PL was. He told me he's never heard of the movie and walked away. jerk

I have to say it is absolutely wonderful that our hard earned tax dollars are well spent in the public education system by churning out these fine individuals that work in public places. KUDOS!

Ask them if they had ever heard of Arizona. Explain to them very slowly, how Yuma is a town in Arizona (that's where large groups of people live), and the 3:10 refers to a train. Explain to them how a train is a steam-powered vehicle that runs on tracks, and can carry people and freight. You can then explain the concept of water as a vapor (steam) to them. Now judge their reaction; do they still have an empty expression on their face, or do they look pissed?

I think... he was doing you a favor. Not even Blu can save IKWKM from being a craptastic experience.

Still, the other day I asked a kid at Circuit City where their $8.96 clearance video games were, and he says, "Probably in the video games department," and walked away.

Just a thought, perhaps you needed to speak more clearly?

In the movie they were talking about going to Yuma prison. The movie did not disscuss the town. but thanks for giving me the link and stuff! Because knowing is half the battle!

So they shouldn't know the new releases that come out each week when they work in the movie department?

I expect the average employee to be able to direct me to more than just where Halo 3 is. Or even if they don't know be kind enough to look it up or help out.

the funny part is we go to bb so much unless they haven`t been put out we should know where they are yet you still find yourself asking ,half the time they never get them where i am so I order from amazon the bb experience has totally turned me off though i lately have been going to delaware bb where the service is much better

BB for me is a often visited store but I rarely buy. When I do it's walk-in and pay. The only time I ask for help is when an item isn't priced and the shelf tag is missing or for another product -- seems to be a common occurrence. As far as large B&M's go I prefer BB over CC. I don't like the feeling of having to fend off hungry mosquitos at CC. I don't know why the concept of service is so difficult, make yourself available to help the customer shouldn't equal having 5 people ask the same customer if they need help the moment you walk in the door. It's as if you're a piece of steak in front of a pack of hungry wolves.
