Good HDTV for my new Bar - Blu-ray Forum

I am building a new house and I put some money away for a new bar.
I want to put a small HDTV in the upper corner (hanging via bracket) for sports and movies.

Also the bar will be 6' wide and the tv will be approx 5' away from the nearest person on the bar stool.

Any recommendations?? Size?

Get a Samsung!

I've got the 46" LN-T4665F LCD and it's fantastic. My buddy recently switched out all his tvs for Samsung Plasma and LCDs.

I say get the Samsung ln-t4671F, 46" 120hz and will do 24hz Full 1080p. I have this LCD and it's sweet.

edit- there is also a 40" model

What kind of budget are you looking at for the tele?

I am the in-house engineer for a casino, and sports book
the customers can't stop telling us how wonderful it is

That's for a "real" bar, not a home bar though

Plasma is far more expensive

well look at the panasonic 50" pz700u. it should run u around 2200 or lower. its a 50" 1080p plasma and a panasonic. so its one of the better ones out there. saves ya half ur money for other stuff.
