Default how far should i sit from screen?

I have an xr10x sharp projector that supports 720p/1080i. My screen size is at least 105in. and Iam currently sitting about 20ft away but not seeing alot of pop.Any suggestions? And should I do720p or 1080I?

Screen size x 2.5. In your case 18 feet, so you are right in range.

I prefer 1080i, but there is not much difference. 720p is just as good as
1080i.

thanks! I have component(monster cables)for my picture.Could this be the reason for not getting the 3 dimensional picture

Ohhhh yeah! I have a 720P LCD, and PS3.... I haven't plugged in the PS3, as I'm waiting for my HDMI cable to arrive.

You should probably be around 15 feet.

EDIT: Looks like 13 feet is optimal for 1080p resolution.
