any idea when blockbuster will..... - Blu-ray Forum

make all there stores carry blu-ray? my local store was carrying them for about two months then just stopped. I thought there was some deal or something that all blockbuster stores had to have blu-ray. any info would be nice thanks

Mine's been carrying a limited quanity, i.e. 1 copy of each new release.

The Blockbuster near me does not carry them at all. I e-mailed Blockbuster to ask if and when they would be getting them and received this response.

alot of blockbusters are franchisee's so they dont have to follow the corp mandates to a tee, alot of them make their own decisions based on the financial means of their individual company

thanks war pig for that info, I thought that would be the response from blockbuster. Its just to bad that so many have to miss out.

jwbud I agree with what you are saying, when my store was carrying blu-ray they weren't promoting it at all, all they had was a window sticker and tiny sign that showed there rental price, and I think the store manager is more of a 360/H-DUD fan anyway.
