Australia Help! I have no idea what Im doing :0(

I have just brought a Blu-ray Disc Recorder (Panasonic DMR-BW750). I need help with working out how to download movies off the interent on the recorder. As the instruction book actually doesnt tell u much. I have the Modem set up to the recorder but after looking through the menu on the recorder I cant work out how to download anything straight from the net onto the recorder. Can someone out there please help??????

Uh, what? Currently there are no legal download-to-own services out there for HD that I know of. Anything else would be illegal and against forum rules.

It's possible I could completely be missing what you're asking however.

Ok, looking at this thing- it's pretty beefy. However, on Panny's web site:

Quote:
WARNING
THE COPYRIGHT ACT 1968 DOES NOT PERMIT THE UNRESTRICTED USE OF THIS RECORDER TO COPY FILMS, SOUND RECORDINGS OR BROADCASTS TO ANY RECORDING MEDIA. THE ACT ONLY PERMITS TO COPY BROADCASTS FOR PRIVATE AND DOMESTIC PURPOSES IN LIMITED CIRCUMSTANCES.

PANASONIC DOES NOT AUTHORISE ANY USE OF THIS RECORDER IN ANY WAY WHICH MAY AMOUNT TO A BREACH OF ANY LAW OR THE RIGHTS OF ANY OWNER OF COPYRIGHT IN FILM OR BROADCAST.
If you were looking to record feature films off the net, you aren't going to be able to. This device is a blu-ray player, DVR and personal burner. It's not for burning your own feature movies.
