Yes... that's less than two... and that's assuming no other places sell HD-DVD players.

Our BB has sold only "2" HD DVD players since the announcement and has had 7 returns.

I wish I could give you an accurate number of Blu-Standalone sold but it's fair to say we sell an average of 6 a day Mon-Thurs and about 12 Fri-Sun.

Again That Is A Daily Number For Blu-Ray

It would be funny if that rough pre-christmas number of 750k actually went DOWN because of returns. I'd like to see HD-DVD have to announce that even though they had sold 750k players by christmas, only 700k of them remained sold, lol.

Don't forget Amazon. They sell a good amount of HD-DVD players, allegedly.

Can't track Amazon by number of locations, but the fact that they supposedly do sell a lot of HD-DVD players combined with the fact that there are a lot of smaller chains out there (Costco, Ultimate Electronics, Micro Center, Fry's, etc) that probably number at least 1000+ when added together and the number of players sold per location is probably much lower, maybe even less than 1.
