Default PSN Games Question

Can you transfer PSN games from one console to another?
Like if you're sharing a PS3 with someone and then get your own and want to take with you the PSN games you've purchased?

This might sound crazy to some of you but I was able to do this with the 360 because the license for the games is attached to the gamertag that purchased it.

Thanks in advance for any input

You might not be able to "Transfer" the software from one system to the other. But, any software that you purchased from the Playstation Store gets stored in a list on the Playstation Network... look for the "Download List" icon on the Playstation Store mainpage. So, as long as you were connected to the Playstation Store with YOUR PSN ID, you should be able to download it again once you get your own system. But, there is always the possibility that Sony has something in place to keep people from using their PSN ID on a friends system in order to get them the game for free.

It's a very good question! Maybe there is something on www.us.playstation.com about it.

this is one thing that has been on my mind. i heard that you can only re-download things you have purchased from your download list a limit of 5 times. others have said its not limited.

does anyone have confirmation of either?

thanks

When I signed up my PSN account, I saw something about 5 times, I think you can download your purchases upto 5 times.
