best place to get br player? - Blu-ray Forum

i am wanting a bluray player now that the war is over. and i was wanting to know where the best place to get one is? or does anyone know how much best buy will take off for one?

Best Buy will only match a local competitors price or take a discount off if you have a coupon. They dont just take discounts for a random schmoe off the streets

No tips that don't apply to any other large purchases, except that I would recommend waiting (since you waited this long anyway) until a vendor has a deal on the model you want throwing in extra movies. I ended up with my bd30 for 499 and 10 free movies, 5 in store under 35 and the 5 mail ins. Even though the 499 was more than I could have gotten it for (I think I saw it for 450 elsewhere), the 5 freebies more than made up for the difference. Good luck in your search.
