Reuters:

The Red Kool-aid Guy, long time advocate of HD DVD, has finally died. It seems after the Time Warner switch to blu-ray exclusive, demand for his fruit juicy pulpless concoction has sky rocketed.

Red Kool-aid Guy, known as "Big Red" by friends said that lately he has been feeling woozy and light headed. "Sometimes it took him three tries to break through a wall. In the final days of his life, he just sat around stirring himself and staring blankly ahead.", stated long time friend, Punchy. The Hawiian Punch Drink Guy.

Autopsy results conclude Red Kool-Aid guys died of a broken heart caused by internal bleeding, and trauma of failing Walmart support is suspected. "The Warner shock weakened him, but Walmart did him in.", say doctors.

Funeral services will be private, with his remaining Kool-aid to be refridgerated and used for his repass supper. His trade mark, "Oh Yeaahh!" will be inscribed on his head stone.

HD DVD devotees are said to be in denial over his death and plan to petition it.
