Another Guitar Hero Question - Blu-ray Forum

will playstation 3 fix the guitar lag problem in there future installments of the game? if so will they need to fix the games themselves or will they need to make a totally new guitar? the reason i ask is because i played gh3 for the wii and i can tell it is easier to hit continuous notes.

This can be adjusted in the setup. I had to mess with it when I set this up for my dad...

i tried many times and it just does not respond that well i have a sony xbr 3 46 in tv

same here that game for ps3 is trash... i hope they fix it whit a patch or something i got a bravia full hd andthe problem wasnt fixing calibrating the lag from the game set up
and i dont have a faulty guitar ive tried like five diferent guitars sicne i gotr a game store down here in my country

yes i just wanted to know if they will make another guitar with the release of aerosmith? a separate one or a bundle

Though I seem to be okay on Rock Band of late. Been gold-starring a few songs on Expert in recent days.

I haven't had any issues at all with lag in GHIII for the PS3

This is my fav game on the PS3.

When I go to calibrate it returns all 0s so its all good in my opinion.

School, some people are aware of the issues, others are not. I've got an XBR4 and I can tell you that no amount of game tweaking makes it play as easy as on the other platforms.

I think the lag issues aren't very noticable unless you're an absolute expert at this game. I quit playing altogether because it was getting too frustrating trying to get expert FC (100%) runs and a 5* on TTFAF with the glitches in the game.

The only real solution is a bluetooth guitar - and activision has to be about the laziest or most ignorant VG producer out there. There won't likely be a guitar for aerosmith ed., but maybe by the time GH4 comes out...

Either way, I'm done with the series. A shoddy gaming experience has aggravated me to the point of I just no longer have fun when playing.

I could not get GH3 to sync or something. I 5 star RB songs on Expert with little trouble (sans the obviously difficult songs) but on GH3 I could not even do repetitive notes. Like...just a simple rhythm of a single note I could not get more than 4 or 5 in a row before I was off-beat somehow. No issues whatsoever with RB.

I have the same issue with Rock Band. It's very annoying.

From my Experiences here in the store. Sony's Are HORRIBLE for this sort of thing. It's one of the many many Reasons I tell people not to go with a Sony, Especially an XBR, and ESPECIALLY when a Sharp is just as good, if not better for MUCH cheaper

I have both the PS3 and Xbox 360 version of GH3 and they play 100% identically for me.

I don't doubt the PS3 version has a problem, but to this day I don't think it's the guitar. I think it's some combination of Video/sound settings in the PS3 itself.

I know when the game was first released it was completely unplayable with optical audio, which was fixed with the patch. It wouldn't surprise me at all if a lesser version of the same problem still existed with some(or several) combinations of settings.

As to the only an expert would notice, the only career song I don't have 5 starred on Expert is Raining Blood, and my scores cross-platform are nearly identical.
