another reason downloads aren't ready (VOD too)

so i'm wondering why my wireless has suddenly slowed to a crawl.

normally, the crappy FIOS router that Verizon provides needs to be rebooted when this happens, but this time it turns out that the kids are watching some VOD cartoons and it's absolutely killing the network in the house.

here we are again, back to the bandwidth issue.

if the current state of fiber running up to the house can't handle SD video while allowing a single computer to also surf, what will HD video do to that connection?

how will they handle two TVs in the house both streaming different content?

Thats just america! they released appleTV here in australia awhile ago and it sucks arse!

I dont think downloading has a good enough international appeal to work.

Try having 6 TVs, (one HI DEF) connected and two computers ( computers if you count the notebooks that are used sometimes too) and a PS3. I have had situations where one of the boxes wouldn't work because the signal wasn't coming through strong enough and that is even with a booster installed. Oddly enough, when I go the HD box for the HDTV the situation got better, but downloads are still seem to crawl sometimes.
