You're complaining about someone complaining. May a thousand deaths descend upon you!

wow, i can't believe i didnt see that. but then again sarcasm is really only evident through tone of voice so on the internet without any visual signs like </sarcasm> u can't tell if sarcasm is being used.

What's that say about the squeaky wheel.

Off topic, I just returned from Sears with my tuned-up lawn edger. I clearly requested that they not tighten the blade with their impact wrench, to the point that I could not loosen it later. Guess what............

Somehow, I am not expecting a garage full of lawn tools.

I never even thought about the "M" rating...... kid shouldn't have the game to begin with!!!! I think by 14, he knows all of the 4-letter words there are, but it's funny that he obviously had the game probably since he was 11 or 12 !!!!

I think the returned case was a hoax. Someone who got the unit to fix stole the case because it was too cool and faked a "cleaning".

Come on, why would anyone expend the effort to clean the case like that? What a complete waste of time, for no purpose.

He/she didn't have a pile of other machines to deal with?

That's cool of Bungie, and I'm impressed MS is also taking note. They could've ignored it completely, but they're promising something either close to it, or "even more awesome," which is nice.

Good for this kid. I hope he enjoys all the swag!

Nice to see a developer caring about its fanbase. Smart of them to put the autographs on something non-electronic. But stupid of the kid to post that he got a load of autographed stuff from Bungie. That house will definatley be on some burglar's hitlist.

Yeah that doesn't surprise me that MS would screw him like that, when I sent mine in i got a worse one back with weird gamer tags already on the the Hard Drive. But Kudos to Bungie for hooking him up.

That doesnt make sense. When you send it in, you are NOT supposed to send in the harddrive. So how exactly did that happen? Did you not follow the directions and you sent in your HD anyway?

No I think that the 360 he got back, the person who sent that one in sent in their hard drive.. and are probably very pissed off that he didnt get his HD back.

That's what I thought too.

Why would someone go through the effort of wiping a case clean, when it has obviously been autographed and made into a pricey piece of collection?

3 possibilities:

*Disgruntled employee, about to be fired, and wanting to leave some headaches to his supervisors.

*Bungie/Halo hater

*A "smart" but dishonest person, who grabbed a new case, used some markers on it, faked a cleanup, and replaced the case with art vs the "pretend" case. Soon to be featured on Ebay, or for personal use if the guy/gal is a Halo fan...

Halo,.. never played it... looks like an updated version of Quake though.

Imagine the fella who send in the clean system and got back one with marker scribbles all over it.
