Default Sony Surround Sound Help

I just purchased a 52 inch samsung 1080p Lcd Televison
And i have the blu ray player bd s300
I was at best buy last week
And saw the samsung LCD but the 42 inch version
And the same player i have the bd s300
it was a display...In the display there was a sony surround sound set up with it.

2 little speakrs mounted to the wall...2 little speakers under the tv
and a big speaker mounted under the tv on the wall...It all came together
You could set it up anyway u want i guess they had it that way for the space
It was 300 bucks
Is that a good buy...And do i need anything else or would that be good to go with what i got????

I don't know, I have never seen it before, but as far as speakers go, I am not a big fan of the Sony brand.

Any suggestions for a surround sound set up thats around 300?
And is that all you need or do you need a certain cable/cables or something else to hook it all up. OR does it just connect with your player and tv?
Sry never had surround before.

Save your money for a few more months and get something better in the future. You are not going to get much for $300. The minimum I would accept is something like the following.

You also need to buy a receiver and some cables. Shop around on the Internet and find someone that offers a receiver and speakers as a package deal.

Save up at least $1000 before buying a set of speakers!!! It will be 3 times more than you WANT to spend, but it will be 1000 times better than what you would get for $300.

I'm assuming that you already have a receiver? If not, than $300 is going to get you absolute garbage. If you need a receiver as well, you are looking at an absolute minimum of $1000 for a DECENT complete setup.

I suggest looking into Onkyo packages. They offer the best quality for the lowest price.
