Default Sony VAIO HDMI - missing surround sound

Hi all,

Quick question, I have a Sony VAIO VGN-FZ180E, connected to Sony Receiver (STRDA5400ES), which in turn connects to my Projector. All works fine except two little problems:

1) I re-installed my Vista Home to Vista Busniness, and thus lost all original Sony installed software. Any advice on what is a good\cheap\maybe original Blue Ray player software? Idially I would download it from Sony but support in Australia does not support this model.....

2) When I try to configure the Control Panel > Hardware and Sound > Manage Audio Device > HDMI option I see two checkboxes:

- one is for "Front Left and Right", which works fine
- the check box other for "Surround Speakers", which is greyed out (so does not work)

I run Vista Business and thought this should be ok?
Any idea from your side?

Many thanks if you have any ideas...

Ronald
