Favreau makes comments about The Avengers lineup (confirmation)

Jon Favreau recently confirmed to USA Today who would be in the Avengers lineup. Does anyone else think this movie is going to be super hyped?

In an article discussing the The Avengers, Favreau made the following statements about the line-up. He says that Marvel's plan is "to team up the heroes for The Avengers, which is made up of all of the Marvel heroes they have the rights to." Of course. And that "the ones Marvel is talking about now are Captain America, Hulk, Thor, Ant-Man and Iron Man. I would love to see that."

So it looks like Ant-Man will be a part of the team. Will they put other lesser known characters in the movie like they have in The X-Men? It'll be interesting to be sure. I think there are some characters that don't translate as well to the big screen (Ant-Man being one of them) that would work in a movie like this. Hopefully Favreau is still in the running to direct.
