where did you find this. I have been trying to get into the show but I think it would be easier with the blu-ray.

It's definitely region free.To import it from here in the UK, people usually go for either Amazon.co.uk or Sendit.com.

I watched all ten episodes last year and the first episode so far this year. I have to say, I thouroughly enjoyed it. Great stories, characters, acting, and wardrobes.

I know about this thread, this was why i wanted to get tudors and my friend happened have two bds and asked me if i wanted buy. I was happy he asked.. i enjoyed first episode on bd!

I watched that for the first time last night (the premiere) because my roommate is in love with it, and now she's got me hooked. I think I'll have to go pick that up now. How much did you pay, OP; if you don't mind my asking?

Yeah... like when I dropped $70 importing Robin Hood Season 1... only to have BBC America announce a US release 2 months later.

I've never seen The Tudors, but I like the actors involved and have heard good things. I might have to check this out somewhere.

More than likely it was done by Sony US

Just like all the Japanese Miyazaki DVDs are compressed and authored in Los Angeles

I went to amazon.uk and they wouldn't ship to the US and then sendit.com stated that the bluray was region 2. Can anyone verify this?

Tudors is a great show, unfortunately it's the ONLY show on Showtime that's any good.

That is wrong. The Tudors BD is region coded ABC, meaning it will play in any Blu-ray player worldwide.

The bluray will play in U.S. And Amazon/uk does export to the US... [I've got one of these too. Along with some other stuff in transit.]
