Won't download

So last night I tried downloading mlb 08 and it sat on 0% forever. Finnally I said the hell w/it and downloaded a movie trailer instead. Although slow, it still worked. So I can download pictures, screen savers, themes etc. but when I attempt to get a full fledge demo from the psn it's a no go (I also emptied the cache,cookies etc) what gives. Brother in blu , please help !

What type of internet do you have? Cable, dsl? Is it connected wirelessly? I had a friend at work that said he couldn't download the COD4 patch when it came out. He had it connected wirelessly runing dsl. So then he connected hard wired to the router and he said he was able to download it faster and no problem.

Your download speed is probly quicker than mine!

I live out in the middle of nowhere and BT havnt given us acsess to high speed boradband yet!

Grrr mine chugs along not much faster than dial up

I have verizon dsl w/ a wireles modem. The ps3 picks up the signal from it. I just don't understand why I can download everything else, just not a full demo ?

I'm not sure why, maybe just because it's a larger file. I had cable, switched to DSL, and then went back to cable. It's double the cost of DSL but waaaaay better IMO.
