Default BD30, Onkyo 605 Video Problem

I am currently noticing my blu ray video flashing, or going crazy every now and then. It seems as if it is getting worse. I have the Panny BD30, 1.6 firmware, the Onkyo 605 reciever, getting audio through HDMI, but Video through component, as my TV does not have HDMI. Audio works fine. Is this a known problem of some sort with either of those two components?

Thanks in advance

If you are using Component from the 605 to your TV, you need to run Component from the BD30 to your 605 and an optical cable as well.

It is currently working...my TV gets the video, and the reciever gets the sound...it is just that my picture goes crazy every now and then, usually during menus. The component cables are from BD30, to 605, to tv. The HDMI is only for sound, and it works fine so far. I was just wondering if this was a known problem with the BD30, or the 605. Also, is anyone running this setup with all HDMI, and are any of you noticing any glitches with that setup?

Thanks,

Thanks,
Does it always happen at the same point on a disc? If so, bypass the receiver, going directly to the tv and try to isolate if its a receiver or player problem. We can troubleshoot further once we know which piece has the issue...

Thanks,
Try removing the HDMI cable from the BD30 to the 605 and just use optical or the 5.1 analog outs for audio and see what happens.
