when I plug in an external hard drive, why does PS3 want to read EVERY file first?
I have roughly 500 to 600 video clips on my 160GB external hard drive.
When I plugged it into the PS3's USB, it is recognized immediately. However, if I move to the video folder, the PS3 tries to read every video file.... which takes a little time... it only seems to be reading the file names/sizes... The video files range in size from 50MB to 3GB...(Divx, MP4, and M2T) The annoying thing is that everytime I turn on the PS3, the whole process repeats by itself... Is there a way around this? Thanks!
