Question PS3 + Dolby TrueHD

Does the PS3 output Dolby TrueHD?

I've just purchased a Yamaha RX-V1800 AV Amp which supports 7.1 Dolby TrueHD and was wondering how I'd get it to play a Blu-ray Dolby TrueHD disk?

It can but only in LPCM, you can not bitstream tru-hd or DTS-MA. I thought you could bitstream Tru-HD, but I tried last night and it would not work for me, Hardware used, PS3 and Pioneer 94thx.

p.s. The higher codecs will only work with a HDMI connection. You won't be able to get away with using the optical output.

The Yamaha RX-V1800 AV Amp also supports HDMI v1.3 along with the PS3.
