Looking for Onkyo 605 or 705

Hi all,
The wife said to get the new receiver. Her thing is she doesn't care about the equipment as long as it looks and sound great. So I either want to get the Onkyo 605 or 705. Obviously I'm looking for the best deal I can find on line and preferably a site that takes Paypal. If anyone knows of a great deal on either receiver please post here or PM me. I appreciate it. Okay, I did it. I found the Onkyo 605 for 299.00 brand new at 6th avenue electronics.com. Awesome deal. Can't wait to get this baby and hook her up.

You are a lucky guy to have a wife like that. Don't screw it up though, she may get the equipment in a settlement if you aren't careful.

Nah. We've been married now for coming up on 14 years. She loves the Home theater. gaming etc as much as I do. She doesn't like to get into all the technical stuff, so she always says "Don't explain what it does, I trust you, as long as it looks and sounds great". She is the one that told me a couple of months ago that the Hitachi 51" was too small. I was kinda shocked. I said what do you want to get. So she says what's the biggest TV you can buy right now for a great price. That's how I ended up getting the TV in my sig. This morning I told her to check around her work and see if anyone wanted the Hitachi 51" HDTV for 600.00. She had it sold to a co-worker as soon as she got to work. Then I told her about the Onkyo 605 and she said "Get it now"
Yeah I definitely have a great wife.
Oh and someone asked if she had a sister. She does but I got the better one. Her sister is nothing like she is.
My wife is also a Star wars nut like me so that's how I was able to build my Satr wars room in the house as well.
All is right with the world.

Well, We got back from our weekend trip yesterday and had a box sitting at our door. It was my new Onkyo 605 receiver. Got it out of the box and man this thing is sweet looking. I got the silver one. Gonna hook it up this week sometime an put it through its paces.
